28-year-old Bradenton burglary suspect arrested

MANATEE — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 28-year-old male burglary suspect at 6:27 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies reportedly arrived at a burglary in progress in the 500 block of 65th Avenue Drive West, Bradenton, and saw a suspect knocking and trying to open doors.

The suspect reportedly walked behind the residence and was later seen exiting an east side door carrying a pillow case.

The suspect, identified by deputies as Raymond Washburn, 701 24th St. E., Bradenton, fled on foot but was later located and arrested.

He was charged with aggravated assault, unoccupied residential burglary, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief.
