Recap: Old Dominion vs. East Carolina

Norfolk, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ambrose Mosley came off the bench to pour in a game-high 17 points as the Old Dominion Monarchs coasted to a 68-47 victory over the East Carolina Pirates in a Conference USA tilt at the Constant Convocation Center.

Mosley knocked down 5-of-10 attempts from beyond the arc for the Monarchs (15-16, 9-7 C-USA), who also received 13 points courtesy of Aaron Bacote. Dimitri Batten and Richard Ross added 12 points apiece with the latter also accounting for a team-high eight rebounds.

Caleb White paced ECU (16-15, 5-11) with 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting from the floor, while Paris Roberts-Campbell made only two of his 10 field goal tries for 10 points. Roberts-Campbell also committed five of the Pirates' 10 turnovers.

ODU took a 28-21 lead into the intermission after it shot 48 percent from the field in the opening stanza. The Pirates were limited to 33.3 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

The Monarchs pulled away after the break as they connected on 70.8 percent of their field goal attempts, including a 6-of-10 clip from 3-point range. ECU went just 2-of-11 on attempts from beyond the arc over the final 20 minutes of the contest.

ODU managed to complete the season series sweep of ECU despite being outscored, 14-0, at the free-throw line. The Monarchs assisted 20 of their 29 makes from the floor.
