PALMETTO -- A San Francisco company has picked up Carlyn Estates Mobile Home Park in Palmetto for $5.28 million.

The mobile home park features 111 mobile home spaces plus a club house and manager's home. The sellers were Elio and Sue Covelli of Kenosha, Wisc., who owned the park through Big Lake Estates.

Carlyn Estates is "a well located senior tenant park with good upside and competitive rents," said Peter Bartys, senior investment advisor for Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group, which represented the sellers.

The Covellis purchased the park in 2005 for $3.9 million, according to property records.

The buyers were represented by Mike Marcu of Insite Investment Realty of Newport Beach, Calif.
