Argument leads to assault, gun charge in Bradenton

BRADENTON -- A man is charged with aggravated assault after he pointed a gun at a person during an argument, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. Saturday at Baja Tires, 3523 15th St. E., according to a sheriff's report.

Deputies say Adrian Guzman, 37, of Bradenton, got into an argument with a 45-year-old man. During the argument, authorities allege, Guzman "became armed with a firearm" and pointed it at another person and threatened to shoot him.

Guzman was located and arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm, the sheriff's office reported. No one was hurt during the incident.
