Recap: Texas A&M vs. Ole Miss

College Station, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Jamal Jones scored 21 points as the Texas A&M Aggies finished off the Ole Miss Rebels, 71-60, in a SEC bout at Reed Arena.

Jordan Green netted 16 points and Kourtney Roberson tacked on 13 for Texas A&M (17-12, 8-8 SEC).

Jarvis Summers led Ole Miss (17-12, 7-8) with 18 points. Marshall Henderson tallied 16 points, but he hit on just 5-of-18 from the field. The Rebels have lost five of their last six.

The teams entered intermission locked at 33-33. Ole Miss shot 44.8 percent from the floor in the opening half and had a 3-0 edge at the free-throw line. Texas A&M shot 45.2 percent from the floor and had a slight advantage from 3- point range (14-12).

After the break the Aggies heated up to 59.1 percent shooting as they easily ran past the Rebels, who knocked down only 28.1 percent in the frame.

Neither team had much success from 3-point range, with Ole Miss hitting on 7- of-31 and Texas A&M making 8-of-25 from the perimeter.
