Manatee deputies catch 2 burglary suspects in the act

Forrest Bellew, burglary, resisting arrest, loitering/prowling, $2,620 bond.

MANATEE -- Two burglary suspects were arrested early Thursday after deputies saw them breaking into to several cars in a Parrish subdivision, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 1 a.m., deputies were conducting surveillance on Forrest Bellew, 19, and a 16-year-old boy when they followed into the Kingsfield subdivision off U.S. 301 in Parrish, according to a news release.

"At one point they entered several cars and took items from within them," the report states.

After a foot chase, the suspects were arrested.

Bellew faces charges of burglary, resisting arrest and loitering/prowling. He is being held on bonds totaling $2,620.
