Recap: Fresno State vs. Boise State

Fresno, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Marvelle Harris shot 9-of-11 from the field on his way to a game-high 26 points, as the Fresno State Bulldogs dismissed the Boise State Broncos, 76-56, in Mountain West Conference action at the Save Mart Center.

Harris knocked down all four of his 3-point attempts for Fresno State (15-14, 8-8 MWC), winners of two in a row and seven of eight. Tyler Johnson filled the stat sheet with 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Allen Huddleston came off the bench to net 12 points.

For Boise State (18-10, 8-7), which had won three in a row coming in, Mikey Thompson led the way with 21 points, Thomas Bropleh and Ryan Watkins put up 14 and 12 points, respectively, and Nick Duncan brought down 11 rebounds.

Fresno State shot a lofty 56.3 percent from the field in the first half while holding Boise State to a mere 25 percent, as it carried a commanding 46-25 lead into intermission.

The tables were turned after halftime, with the Broncos shooting 50 percent from the floor and the Bulldogs 37.5 percent, but Fresno State's advantage never dipped below 13 points.

The Bulldogs knocked down 11-of-19 from 3-point range on the evening, while the Broncos finished a dreadful 2-of-18 from beyond the arc.
