Gladiators pummel another

The Bradenton Gladiators remained perfect in the Florida Football Alliance following Saturday's game as the minor league football organization heads into the second half of the regular season.

Bradenton polished off the Miami Spartans 28-2 behind touchdowns from Chris Hall, Jeff Charlton, Bonshavior Bean and Craig Carnes.

The Glads are expected to receive a stern test from the Orlando Rage this weekend. That game is in Orlando and is the second meeting between the two sides this year. The last matchup ended with Bradenton earning a 21-15 home win.

The Gladiators hold a two-game lead over the Rage in the NFC West Division and remain one of three unbeaten clubs in the FFA.
