FHP DUI wolfpack detail in Bradenton nets 2 drunken drivers

BRADENTON -- The Florida Highway Patrol conducted a DUI wolfpack detail from 9 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday in Manatee County.

The detail resulted in two DUI arrests, eight speed arrests, two no valid driver’s license citations, two open container citations, six no proof of insurance citations, two window tint citations, five miscellaneous other arrests, 14 written warnings and 30 faulty equipment notices.

Florida law considers a driver with .08 or higher blood alcohol content to be impaired. Drivers under the age of 21 with a BAC of .02 or higher are also in violation of Florida law.
