Bradenton man faces manslaughter charge in Sarasota strip club fight

SARASOTA -- A Bradenton man has been charged with killing another man during a fight at a Sarasota strip club just after midnight Sunday, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

Brad Stanford, 32, was arrested and charged with manslaughter, according to a news release.

About 12:17 a.m., deputies responded to the Cheetah Lounge, 3939 N. Washington Blvd., after a fight was reported.

Deputies found a man who was unresponsive and not breathing.

Deputies initiated CPR until Sarasota County Fire Department personnel arrived to continue life-saving efforts.

Shortly thereafter, the victim was pronounced dead.

The victim's name has not been released.

Stanford is being held without bond at the Sarasota County jail.
