In TripAdvisors second annual Travelers Choice Island Awards, Marco Island topped the U.S. rankings. Anna Maria Island came in third, an improvement from fourth last year.
Were obviously biased. And spoiled. Anna Maria Islands simple charms win hands down against Marco Islands big-time glitz.

In the Best Beaches category, Siesta Key placed second, St. Pete Beachs Pass-a-Grille came in 15th and Clearwater Beach took 18th place. Go visit all three and we think youll conclude Anna Maria Island beaches should be high on this list, too.
