Manatee Service Club hosting 49th Antiques and Collectibles Show

PALMETTO -- Service Club of Manatee County will host the 49th Annual Antiques and Collectibles Show on Feb. 28, March 1-2 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center.

More than 50 vendors will showcase silver, china, jewelry, porcelains, glassware, paintings, vintage collectibles and more.

The show opens with a preview reception from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. Dinner is provided by Carrabba's from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Reception tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and are good for the entire weekend. Tickets can be purchased from any Service Club member and at 13 local retail stores.

Saturday and Sunday show tickets are $6 at the door and are good both days. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Antique appraisals by Kennedy Brothers Auctions of St. Petersburg will be available noon to 3 p.m. Saturday for a nominal fee. Crystal, glass and jewelry repair will be available throughout the weekend.
