— The Southeast girls basketball team is headed back to the state final four for the first time in 10 years.

The Seminoles pulled out a 54-49 victory over host Cape Coral in overtime on Saturday night in the Class 5A-Region 3 championship game. Southeast led 19-13 at halftime.

Coach John Harder has won two previous state championships and taken his team to five final fours.

Southeast will meet either Inverness Citrus or Land O' Lakes on Feb. 21 at a time to be determined.
