Bradenton man robbed on way home from McDonald's

A Bradenton man was robbed on his way home from McDonald's on Friday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

The 52-year-old victim was in the 8100 block of North Tamiami Trail around 4:40 p.m. when a man grabbed a bag from around his neck, according to the report.

The suspect fled to a parked vehicle waiting in the Budget Inn parking lot nearby, which took off southbound on Tamiami Trail, authorities said.

The victim was not hurt during the incident, the report states. The area was searched, but the suspects could not be found.
