Misty Servia, planning department manager with King Engineering Associates, has been elected a senior associate of the firm and was invited to become a company shareholder. King is a full-service civil engineering firm. Servia has been with King for eight years and manages its Sarasota planning department, working for private and public sector clients in the region.

Realtor Chrisi Adamson has joined the RE/MAX Alliance Group. Before entering the real estate field, Adamson was a school counselor for the Manatee County school district for 10 years. She is a board member of the Council for Exceptional Children, an organization which supports children with disabilities and advocates on behalf of special needs programming. A native of Cuba, N.Y., she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in education from Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y. She moved to Sarasota in 2005 and married Florida native Ryan Adamson.

Realtor Christopher Iacobelli, a multimillion-dollar producer, has joined RE/MAX Platinum Realty in the Lakewood Ranch office. He was previously with Premier Sotheby's International Realty. Iacobelli has a diverse background in finance, lending, real estate and business management. In 2004, he founded Sterling Financial Group LLC in Newport Beach, Calif., a private equity company specializing in buying, renovating and selling distressed real estate. Before that, he owned and operated Premier Mortgage Group, a correspondent mortgage banking firm operating in 35 states with 105 employees.

Grapevine Communications has hired Miranda Spinner as public relations and media manager and Mary Everist as account coordinator. In addition, Sara En

glund has been promoted to production and traffic manager.

Spinner earned a bachelor's degree in communication from Mississippi State University with emphasis in broadcasting and public relations. She has a background in broadcast news reporting, event coordination, marketing, public relations and client services. As public relations and media manager, she serves as the agency's point of contact for all media channels, with responsibilities including event planning and coordination, media planning and relations, as well as social media creation, posting and reporting.

Everist joined Grapevine with experience in marketing, business development, finance, project management and operations. Her strengths in organization, technology and client support are a fit for her role. As account coordinator, Everist provides additional client support as well as in-house project coordination and production processing.

Englund joined Grapevine in mid-2013 with experience in client relations and marketing coordination. Her production experience ensures that all projects move through Grapevine efficiently. She began assisting in production management duties several months before taking on the position full time.

Brian Leidel has rejoined Kerkering, Barberio & Co., as a tax manager. Leidel will serve clients from the Sarasota office. Previously, Leidel had his own practice, Leidel & Co., PA. He obtained his master of accountancy in taxation from Florida State University and is a certified public accountant.
