Recap: Weber State vs. Northern Colorado

Ogden, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Davion Berry and Jeremy Senglin each netted 15 points as the Weber State Wildcats cruised past the Northern Colorado Bears, 79-65, in Big Sky Conference play at Dee Event Center.

Berry dished out six assists, and Senglin connected on 5-of-7 from 3-point distance for Weber State (13-7, 10-2 Big Sky). Joel Bolomboy notched a double- double with 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Jordan Richardson chipped in 14 points with seven boards. The Wildcats have won eight of their last nine games.

Tate Unruh led all scorers in the game with 18 points for Northern Colorado (13-8, 7-5). Derrick Barden contributed 11 points in the loss, which was the fourth in a row for the Bears.

Weber State connected on 52 percent of its field goal tries in the first half, including an impressive 7-of-10 from 3-point range. The Wildcats took a 39-32 lead into the locker room at the half after Northern Colorado hit 42.9 percent of its shots in the frame.

The Wildcats improved on their already high shooting percentage in the second period, upping it to 55 percent from the floor. Northern Colorado's shooting percentage dipped to 34.4, including 12.5 percent from deep.

Weber State outscored Northern Colorado from 3-point range, 36-12, and had the edge from the free-throw line, 19-15.
