Man Who Tried Sochi Plane Hijack Detained

A Ukrainian passenger accused of trying to hijack an Istanbul-bound plane to Sochi, Russia is reported to have been detained. NTV television says an F-16 fighter plane was scrambled as soon as the pilot signalled there was a hijacking attempt. (Feb. 7)
