Recap: Montana State vs. Eastern Wash

Bozeman, MT (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Harvey logged 19 points and eight assists as the Eastern Washington Eagles rolled past the Montana State Bobcats, 79-50, in a Big Sky Conference clash at Worthington Arena.

Venky Jois scored 15 points for the Eagles (10-12, 5-6 Big Sky), who extended their winning streak to three games. Martin Seiferth and Parker Kelly each scored in double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively, as Drew Brandon cleared 10 boards.

Flavien Davis and Calen Coleman each had nine points for the Bobcats (10-12, 5-6), who have lost two consecutive contests.

EWU shot 48.2 percent from the floor in the first half and went on a 21-7 run early on, as it led 36-20 at the break. Montana State struggled and made just 34.8 percent of its field goal attempts in the period

In the second frame, the Eagles drained 57.7 percent of their field goal tries, including 8-of-14 from 3-point range. They easily cruised to a big win, leading by as many as 29 points.

The Eagles dominated the glass, outrebounding the Bobcats 38-22.
