A couple of the Bradenton area favorites are teaming up for a Saturday afternoon concert of popular songs with nostalgic feel.

The Magic of Manatee Sweet Adelines Chorus will perform show tunes and popular music.

The popular group is the local chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, and organization of women of all ages who are devoted to promoting barbershop harmony music through performance, education and competition.

They'll be performing at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Neel Performing Arts Center at State College of Florida.

Opening the show will be the My Three Sons quartet, a barbershop group made up of members of the Ditchfield Family Singers -- father and bass singer, Stephen, and sons Michael, who sings lead, and Nathaniel and David, who alternate between baritone and tenor.

My Three Sons has ranked with the top barbershops groups in the world in international competitions, and has won Florida's state barbershop championship.

Details: 3 p.m. Feb. 8, Neel Performing Arts Center at State College of Florida, 5840 26th St. W., Bradenton. Tickets: $18. Information: 941-794-0218.
