Animal Cruelty Search Warrant (Manatee County Sheriff's Office video)

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2014, 12:30 PM RE: SEARCH WARRANT SHERIFF W. BRAD STEUBE REPORTS: The Sheriff's Office and several other local and state agencies are executing a search warrant today at Napier's Log Cabin Horse and Animal Sanctuary located at 20010 State Road 64 East, Bradenton. Over 300 dogs, cats, horses, pigs and other animals are being confiscated from the property, due to poor health conditions. Veterinarians are on-scene examining the animals, a majority of which are dogs. The investigation involves possible animal cruelty and fraud. The property owners were out of town during the execution of the search warrant. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation continues.
