Bradenton Riverwalk day dock to close for improvements

February 4, 2014

BRADENTON -- The day dock at the Bradenton Riverwalk will close for two weeks starting Monday, according to the city.

"Plans call for improving the dock to allow for a wider range of boat sizes and types," the city said in a news release. "Forty-six exterior pilings will be added.

"The area will be marked with signage and barricades to alert pedestrians and boaters of the closure."
