Man with note robs SunTrust bank branch in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A SunTrust bank branch in Bradenton was robbed Monday morning, according to Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 9:44 a.m., a man walked into the branch at 5714 14th St. W. and handed a note to teller. A weapon was implied but not seen, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the sheriff's office.

There were no reports of injuries.

Just after noon, the sheriff's office released a photo of the suspect taken by a security camera at the bank.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s, and standing 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet, 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve striped polo shirt, jeans and a Tampa Bay Rays ball cap.
