BRADENTON -- A man on a bicycle opened fire on a group of people, including three young children, as he rode by outside their home Saturday night, authorities said.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which happened around 7:12 p.m. in the 400 block of 59th Avenue East, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

The victims, which included a 29-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and three kids ages 9, 6, and 4, were outside of their residence when a man rode by on a bike, pulled out an unknown type of firearm and pointed it in their direction, the report states.

The suspect fired three shots at them, then fled westbound on 59th Avenue East, investigators said. He could not be found.

None of the victims was injured. They could provide only limited information about the suspect, who was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and black pants, according to the report.

The area was canvassed, but there was no damage to any structure or vehicle in the immediate area, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing.
