MANATEE — Three men reportedly robbed a male victim at 10 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Flamingo Boulevard, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim told deputies he was walking to a grocery store when he was confronted by three males with two riding bikes and one on the handle bars of one bike, which rammed into the victim. The suspect on the handlebar reportedly jumped off tand punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground, and demanded all his money.

The victim reportedly took out his money and threw it at the suspects who fled east across 14th Street down 60th Avenue West.

The two bicycle riders were described as lanky in their early 20s. The attacker was described as 5-foot-6, mid-20s with no facial hair wearing a dark hoodie.

The victim was reportedly uninjured.
