Florida Rep. Trey Radel busted in drug case will resign

U.S. Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla., who in November was caught buying cocaine from an undercover federal agent in Washington, D.C., will resign from Congress on Monday, Politico is reporting.

After the revelation, Radel, of Fort Myers, spent almost a month in a rehabilitation facility. He returned to Congress after the winter recess.

The first-term Republican plans to send a resignation letter Monday to House Speaker John Boehner, Politco reported.
