Manatee investigator's car struck by hit-and-run GMC Sierra

January 26, 2014

MANATEE — Investigator Kristina Kall of the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office was parked along First Ave West sometime after 1 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle believed to be a white GMC Sierra traveling westbound ran into Kall’s assigned Chevy Impala.

The impact reportedly pushed the Impala forward into another vehicle. A headlight and pieces of plastic, which belonged to the right side of a 2007-09 GMC Sierra, were found along the roadway.

There was white paint transfer on the Impala, which sustained at least $12,000 damage and the second vehicle hit sustained about $100 damage to the rear bumper.

The suspect vehicle was not located.
