Xavier Johnson tallied 12 points to lead Colorado (15-6, 4-4), which has lost four of its last five. Josh Scott had 11 points and seven rebounds, while Askia Booker logged 10 points and five assists.
Arizona State staked itself to a 34-23 lead at halftime by shooting 52.2 percent from the floor, while holding Colorado to eight field goals, in the first half.
The Sun Devils were able to coast to victory behind a 45.8 percent shooting effort in the second period, which included a 6-of-10 effort from beyond the arc.
Colorado lost despite owning a 28-22 scoring edge in the paint. Arizona State scored 28 points off of 19 turnovers.
