6 arrested in prostitution sting in Bradenton

BRADENTON -- Six men were arrested Thursday during an undercover sting targeting prostitution along Tamiami Trail, according to Bradenton police.

The suspects, who were each charged with a misdemeanor count of solicitation of prostitution, were arrested in the 1300 block of 27th Avenue West, police said.

As part of the operation, officers seized four vehicles, police said.

The investigation was conducted by the police department's Casual Clothes and Narcotics units.
