Ogden, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Davion Berry recorded game-highs of 25 points and seven assists to help the Weber State Wildcats to a decisive 86-57 win over the Montana State Bobcats in a Big Sky Conference game at Dee Events Center.
All five starters scored in double figures and shot 50 percent from the floor or better to extend the Wildcats (9-6, 6-1 Big Sky) win streak to four. Joel Bolomboy had a double-double consisting of 11 points and 12 rebounds while Jordan Richardson and Kyle Tresnak each scored 12. Jeremy Senglin added 13 points.
The Bobcats (9-9, 4-3) were led by Paul Egwuonwu and his 14 points. Marcus Colbert chipped in 10 points.
The Wildcats took the lead early in the game and never gave it back. They had a 38-28 edge going into the half behind their 58.3 percent shooting from the floor and by holding the Bobcats to just 41.4 percent shooting.
In the second half the Wildcats managed to improve to 66.7 percent from the floor for the half to end up shooting 62.2 percent for the game. The Bobcats cooled to 32.1 percent shooting in the frame, to end up at 36.8 percent for the game.
The Wildcats shared the ball well, having 23 assists on their 28 field goals made while the Bobcats had just seven assists in the game.
