Bradenton store clerk pepper-sprayed during robbery

BRADENTON — The Bradenton Police Department reported an armed robbery occurred at 8:59 p.m. Saturday at the Kwick Stop at 2505 26th Ave West.

A customer of Kwick Stop reportedly found the store clerk lying uninjured on the ground.

BPD reported the clerk was behind the register when a suspect carrying a silver handgun entered and demanded money. The suspect was reportedly wearing black pants, dark-colored jacket with multi-colored skulls and his face was covered.

The surrended $300 before he was pepper-sprayed as the suspect escaped westbound.
