Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Bachynski logged a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds, as the Arizona State Sun Devils made easy work of the USC Trojans, 79-60, in Pac-12 Conference action at the Galen Center.
Jahii Carson added 18 points for ASU (13-3, 2-1 Pac-12), which has won six of seven. Shaquielle McKissic tallied 12 points, eight rebounds and six steals, while Jermaine Marshall chipped in 10 points for the visitors.
For USC (9-6, 0-2), which has lost back-to-back games, Byron Wesley put up 20 points and 14 rebounds, but no one else finished in double figures.
ASU shot 48.3 percent from the field in the first half, including 6-of-12 from 3-point range, as it carried a comfortable 44-28 lead into halftime. USC, meanwhile, shot only 34.3 percent in the opening 20 minutes.
The Trojans never got closer than 12 points of the lead in the second stanza.
The Sun Devils shot 20-of-30 from the free-throw line on the evening, while USC was just 13-of-25 from the stripe.
