Bradenton woman reports Sunday morning rape after 'payment' issue

BRADENTON — A Bradenton woman told officers with the Bradenton Police Department she was raped at 9:58 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of 13th Avenue West.

When a detective interviewed the victim, she said she was paid for sex but there was a payment issue, according to the report.

After being questioned further about her story, the woman told police she wished to harm herself and was taken to a mental facility for help, the report states.

The woman was checked for rape indications, the report adds.
