Nazi Wannsee Conference: Sarasota Holocaust survivor Kurt Marburg, 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 713 South Orange Ave. in Burns Square, Sarasota, $7 per adult, $3 per student. Marburg will discuss the steps of the disaster in the making, which he knew as a survivor and later as an American soldier helping liberate Europe's death camps. Orthodox Catholic: The Synod of Governing Bishops for the Holy Orthodox Catholic Church announced the opening if their new church temporarily at 2700 S. Tamiami Trail, Suite 11B, Sarasota. The Rev.
