If you're an electronic dance music fan, you probably already have plans to see Deadmau5 today at Raymond James Stadium. In fact, you probably bought your tickets months ago, and you've probably planned your Christmas activities around the concert.

Deadmau5 is one of the biggest names in EDM, as aficionados call electronic dance music. He was the first dance artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, he performed at the Grammy Awards and was the in-house DJ for the MTV Video Awards in 2011. He hasn't performed in Tampa in years, so this show is a big deal for his fans.

Deadmau5 (his real name is Joel Zimmerman and his stage name is pronounced "dead mouse") is a Canadian-born superstar of electronic dance music. His "unhooked" set shows off his aptitude for freestyling, an on-the-spot mixture of some of his favorite songs, originals and bootlegs, with sounds and samples created right on stage.

Deadmau5 is by far the biggest draw here, but this show is officially billed as festival called "The Gift." The opening acts on the bill are Adventure Club, Nervo, GTA and Nom De Strip will open up the one-day festival.

Details: 5:30 p.m. Dec. 26, Raymond James Stadium, 4201 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Tickets: $45 plus service charge. Information: 813-350-6500, www.raymondjamesstadium.com.
