Palmetto woman faces prostitution charges again

MANATEE -- A Palmetto woman is facing charges of operating a business place for prostitution and unlicensed massages, according to the State Attorney's Office.

Alicia Lorene Davis, 28, was arrested Friday and charged with one misdemeanor count of operating a place for lewdness, assignation or prostitution, according to an arrest report. She bonded out hours later of Manatee County Jail on a $120 bond.

Davis was previously arrested Nov. 12 and charged with one felony count of deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, one misdemeanor count of practicing unlicensed massage and one misdemeanor count for renting space for the purposes of prostitution. She is out on bonds totaling $4,500 in those charges.

On or about Oct. 18, Davis is alleged to have operated the establishment and knowingly profited from the earnings of two prostitutes.

Davis is scheduled to be arraigned on her new charge at 9 a.m. Jan. 10.
