Tampa Police Officers save pilot in plane crash

The video from the Tampa Police helicopter from this morning's airplane crash can be viewed at The video shows the aerial after the crash, the officer using a fire extinguisher to put out the flames and pulling the pilot from the plane. The officers will be available for interviews at 2 p.m. at the TPD hanger, 4400 West Tampa Bay Boulevard. The Mayor and the Chief have also been anxiously waiting for Officer Dave Dennison and Officer Brian Gentry to wake up after the midnight shift to thank them for their heroic measure.
