If you're a little too old for the Miley Cyrus-Austin Mahone Christmas concert at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, you might prefer the lineup at the Mix 100.7 Acoustic Xmas concert in St. Petersburg.
There's a solid mix of talent, headed by the Goo Goo Dolls, the former indie band who first hit it big commercially with their single "Iris" in 1998. They've just released their ninth album, "Magnetic."
Also on the bill are The Fray, ZZ Ward, Michael Franti & Spearhead and Colbie Caillat.
The Fray, a rock band from Denver, had a hit with their debut album, "How to Save a Life," in 2005. Their second album entered the charts at No. 1 and earned a Grammy nomination.
ZZ Ward sings soul, blues, pop and hip-hop. She's best known for her first single, "Put the Gun Down," released earlier this year.
Michael Franti & Spearhead play a feel-good blend of reggae, soul, pop and hip-hop that's just about impossible to resist.
The most recent addition to the lineup is Caillat. She was rejected twice by American Idol and first gained fame through social media. In 2008, she won a Grammy for "Lucky," a duet with Jason Mraz. She has now sold more than 6 million albums and 10 million singles.
