Jeremy Keller has joined BB&T Insurance Services as a family risk manager in the Personal Lines division. The Bay St. Louis, Miss., native has more than seven years of experience in the personal insurance industry on both the agency and insurance company side. He specializes in meeting the risk protection needs of high-net-worth clients. A former Tampa resident, Keller now resides in Lakewood Ranch. He earned his bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance from Mississippi State University.

Azania Koi and DeAnna Sands have joined Salon Uptown Downtown, 620 14th St. West. Koi is a hairstylist with cutting edge skills. Sands is a skincare specialist and makeup artist. Both participate in Salon Uptown Downtown's online booking service.

Elena Vizvary has been elected to a two-year term as president of the Florida Occupational Therapy Association. The Sarasota County resident has more than three decades of clinical and management experience in a variety of practice settings in Florida, Michigan and New York. She currently serves as department chair of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy for Exceptional Student Education in the Sarasota County public school system. Vizvary has held several executive board positions with the FOTA. For the past six years, Vizvary also has been a member of the Florida

Department of Education's Working With the Experts advisory committee, assisting in identifying best-practice training for therapists in Florida's public schools.

Ben Bakker has joined the Commercial Division of Michael Saunders & Co. at the firm's Manatee Avenue West office. A lifelong resident of Manatee County, Bakker combines community knowledge with a background in commercial real estate. He also brings a diverse background in sales and customer service; along with strong community relationships established through years of professional networking. In addition to his new role with Michael Saunders & Co. Bakker serves as vice president of HJB Properties Inc., a family-owned commercial property enterprise. In this capacity, he oversees management, leasing and tenant relations for the multiple parcels of commercial real estate, office buildings and warehouses that his family owns throughout Manatee County. Bakker holds positions with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce's Downtown Redevelopment Committee and the Manatee County Infill Redevelopment Taskforce, and was recently appointed by Mayor Wayne Poston to serve as a planning commissioner for Bradenton.

Elizabeth Callahan, founder and medical director of SkinSmart Dermatology, recently attended the Global Merz Aesthetics Expert Summit, in Paris to discuss the globalization of beauty in facial aesthetics. Keynote lectures and live injection courses covered aspects of aesthetic medicine. Committed to excellence and innovation, the program was specifically designed to enhance premium injection techniques and stimulate peer-to-peer exchange on controversial aesthetic topics.
