FHP: Driver flees crash in Bradenton Home Depot parking lot

BRADENTON -- Authorities are looking for a driver who they say hit a parked car in a Home Depot parking lot and fled the scene Saturday night.

A woman had parked her 1996 Nissan Altima in the parking lot of the store, 2350 Cortez Rd. W., when an unidentified vehicle crashed into its left side sometime around 8 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The Altima's owner discovered the damage at 8:05 p.m. No one was hurt in the incident, investigators said.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has any knowledge about the identity or location of the hit-and-run vehicle or driver is asked to contact the FHP at 239-938-1800.
