Junior Sarah Karp

Sarah Karp is a first-year staff writer for The Bolt. She has attended Out-of-Door Academy since freshman year.

Sarah has played lacrosse for ODA for the past two years and intends to continue playing through her senior year. She has always enjoyed writing and taking photos. She envisions a creative writing piece, in the perspective of a dog, which would not be revealed until the end of the story. Sarah has a passion for traveling and hopes to one day visit every country in the world. She helps her mom with raising a Southeastern Guide dog named Cookie, who sadly has to leave Sarah's family this fall. She loves volunteering for their organization, and her family received another puppy to raise in October. She hopes to be a photographer and writer for National Geographic so she can travel around the world doing something she loves.
