Rochelle Dudley, president of OnMessage Strategic Communications, PR Coordinator at 360 Degrees PR and co-founder of PoliticallyPersonal.com, has been named one of Tampa Bay Business Journal's "Up & Comers for 2013". As the only "Up & Comer" selected from Sarasota, Dudley is one of 18 in the "Under 40" Category. Out of the 400 applicants, only 43 were chosen to receive an "Up & Comer." Through OnMessage Strategic Communications, she has raised an estimated $800,000 for local political candidates. A few of the notable political clients she has worked with include U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, state Reps. Greg Steube, Ray Pilon and Jim Boyd.

Aleksandr Sinelnikov, associate professor of anatomy and pathology at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine's campus in Bradenton, recently had published the "Atlas of Human Anatomy." The book is one of a limited number of medical school texts that focuses on systemic anatomy, which is an approach to anatomic study organized by organ systems. The Atlas is one of the most popular in Europe and is in its eighth edition in Russian and first in Bulgarian.

Dan Johnson, owner of Swim Incorporated, a local pool construction company, has been named by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals as the Certified Building Professional of the year. The award was presented this month in a ceremony at the International Pool & Spa Exposition in Las Vegas. The award is in recognition of industry leadership and volunteer activities in education, advocacy and government relations. Johnson has been teaching in the industry since 1997 and was inducted into the Florida Swimming Pool Association Hall of Fame in 2009. He has been a state certified pool builder working in the Sarasota/Bradenton area since 1983.

Joe Zambito, former chief auditor for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, has joined the Anna Maria Island office of RE/MAX Alliance Group as a sales associate. Zambito's years as a business owner and senior-level financial manager give him a solid understanding of the financial aspects of real estate transactions. He owned ETC Peripherals Inc., a computer manufacturing and worldwide distributor, for six years. He also served as chief financial officer for an Internet service company for the last 14 years. A 24-year Anna Maria Island resident, he earned his accounting degree from the Business University of Tampa.
