Trinet to go public

TriNet, a professional employer organization for small to medium-sized businesses, has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.

Trinet, the California-based company that purchased Gevity HR in Lakewood Ranch, filed the registration statement this week. It is not yet effective.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are acting as joint book-running managers of the offering and as representatives of the underwriters. Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. is acting as a joint book-running manager of the offering.

These securities may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted, before the registration statement becomes effective.
