THANKSGIVING

• Libby's Café + Bar, 1917 S. Osprey Ave., Southside Village, Sarasota, will offer a Thanksgiving plated dinner menu. It will include all-natural roasted turkey, creamy sweet potato casserole, potato puree, giblet gravy, creamed pearl onions, homemade herb stuffing, string bean casserole with crispy onion topping, fresh cranberry sauce, yeast roll, pecan pie with caramel drizzle and whipped cream, pumpkin pie with candied walnuts, whipped cream, doggy bag with leftovers. The cost is $32 per adult, $12 for children 10 and under. They will also be offering their new à la carte winter dinner menu. Reservations are recommended and complimentary parking is available.

• Louies Modern, 1289 N. Palm Ave., Downtown Sarasota, will offer their twist on Thanksgiving 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. Louies' Farm Table to Fork Plated Dinner, specially presented on the oversized "farm table" in the center of the restaurant, plated and served to guests by order will include Ashley Farms slow-roasted turkey, caramelized root vegetable stuffing, mango citrus turnips, yukon gold potato purée, ginger cranberry compote and house-made giblet gravy. Cost is $30 per person. They will also be offering their new à la carte winter dinner menu, additional chef specials and delectable holiday dessert options. • Pier 22, 1200 First Ave. W., downtown Bradenton, will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. The dinner includes fresh roasted turkey, stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and homemade pumpkin pie. The cost is $25.95 for adults and $12.95 for children age 12 and younger. The current dinner menu is also available. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling 941-748-8087. Also available is a complete take-home Thanksgiving dinner for four for $75 or dinner for eight for $145. Mattison's Thanksgiving: Dine-In or Thanksgiving Feast To-Go

•Mattison's City Grille, 1 N. Lemon Ave., Sarasota, offers a traditional dine-in Thanksgiving Feast beginning at 4 p.m. Nov. 28. Seating begins at 11 a.m. for signature lunch favorites including pumpkin soup with goat cheese croutons; oven-roasted turkey sandwich with stuffing, cranberry sauce and cheese on pumpernickel bread with a side of turkey gravy dip; Thanksgiving pizza with oven-roasted turkey, spinach, caramelized onions, smoked Gouda and mozzarella; veggie pizza with mushrooms, green beans, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts and mozzarella. At 4 p.m., a traditional Turkey Dinner with oven-roasted turkey with sweet potato casserole, sausage pecan stuffing, Brussels sprouts, pan gravy, and house made cranberry sauce is offered. For dessert, pumpkin cheese cake or chocolate pecan pie with fresh whipping cream. Thanksgiving dinner is $28 for adults and $14 for children age 12 and younger. Louies Modern new menu: Louies Modern has re-opened for lunch with a new menu that provides variety for all palates. The new lunch menu includes spiced butternut squash soup, garbanzo quinoa wrap with curry mango aioli, grilled yellowfin tuna BLT on millet toast and miso marinated grilled scallop salad. Louies' Barista Bar, at 1289 N. Palm Ave. in downtown Sarasota, opens daily for breakfast bites, coffee and tea at 7 a.m., with lunch service in the restaurant starting at 11:30 a.m. Dinner service begins at 4 p.m. Reservations are recommended and can be made online at www.louiesmodern.com or by calling 941-552-9688. Harry's news: Harry's Restaurant, Deli & Wine Shop, and Catering is offering a fall-insipred four-course prix fixe for $29.99. Menu include a choice of homemade soup; second course -- Longboat shrimp and crab roll with arugula and lemon-chive aioli, butternut squash ravioli with sage brown butter or a roasted beet salad with almond crusted chevre cheese and butter lettuce. Third course -- pan-roasted pork loin with whole-grain bourbon cream sauce, bacon-Brussels sprout hash, salmon en pappillote with white wine, lemon, fresh dill, mushroom tomato, wild rice, vegetables or slow-cooked duck breast with black cherry glaze and roasted beet risotto and choice of dessert. Café L'Europe 40th anniversary celebration: Café L'Europe, 431 St. Armands Circle, continues its 40th anniversary celebration with a special lunchtime prix-fixe menu, L'Anniversarie $19.73. The three-course menu highlights some of the more popular dishes Sarasota's oldest fine dining restaurant has served over the past four decades. This menu is available 11 a.m to 2:30 p.m. daily. The menu: Starters -- cup of Café L'Europe lobster bisque or small L'Europe house salad (baby greens, artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, olives, tomatoes, egg and house dressing); entrees -- classic chicken salad on pineapple, apple pancake, crêpes du jour, maple-teriyaki salmon or liver and onions; dessert -- house-made sorbet du jour or profiteroles. Jazz Brunch on the Beach: The Sandbar, 100 Spring Ave., Anna Maria, is now serving Brunch on the Beach 10 a.m.-1 p.m. every Sunday. Jazz music is provided by the Lou Harris Quartet featuring Koko Ray. Brunch at the Sandbar is available inside the dining room or on the covered open air deck with toes-in-the-sand tables available. Reservations are not required, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Michael's on East: Michael's On East's three-course Londolozi South African-themed Epicurean Adventure dinner menu will be available Monday through Saturday evenings for $29.95 per person through Nov. 31. The two-course Power Lunch offering features a choice of entrée and dessert for $18.95 per person and is available Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each wine pairing is $10 during dinner or $5 per pairing during lunch.
