Shots fired at house in Ellenton

MANATEE -- No one was injured early Monday when someone fired at least three gunshots at a residence in Ellenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting in the 3400 block of 15th Street East was reported at 1:30 a.m., according to a news release.

Two bullets hit an unoccupied vehicle parked at the residence, and one round hit the front lower portion of the residence, the sheriff's office said.

"There were no injuries and the victims do not know of anyone who would do this," the report states.
