Hit-and-run driver sought after man struck in driveway

— Authorities are looking for a driver who they say struck a pedestrian and fled the scene Nov. 7 in Bradenton.

The pedestrian was in the driveway of a residence in the 5000 block of 47th Street West around 8:15 a.m. that morning when a vehicle headed eastbound turned into the driveway, striking the 66-year-old man on his right side, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The man suffered minor injuries and was treated at Blake Medical Center, investigators said.

Anyone with information about the identity of the driver or the vehicle is asked to contact Trooper Keil Nanan at 239-938-1800.
