Suspects use '4-hour window' in East Manatee theft

HERALD STAFF REPORTNovember 15, 2013

MANATEE -- A four-hour window.

That's all the thieves had in the case of a residential burglary in the 5200 block of Creekside Trail in East Manatee at 11 a.m. Friday, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

And yet, in those four hours, the perpetrators got away with expensive jewelry, the report states.

The report does not indicate how the home was accessed and how much jewelry was taken.

Creekside Trail includes a neighborhood of upscale homes near the intersection of Lockwood Ridge Road and Honore Avenue.
