4 arrested in Bradenton in prostitution sting

BRADENTON -- Four people were arrested Tuesday in an undercover sting targeting prostitution in Bradenton, according to Bradenton police.

Officers from the department's Casual Clothes and Narcotics Unit carried out the operation, during which officers also seized one vehicle under a city anti-prostitution ordinance, according to a news release.

Three men were charged with misdemeanor counts of solicitation of prostitution. A fourth man was arrested on a warrant charging him with felony theft.

"The city of Bradenton Police Department will continue its citywide enforcement effort to prevent and stop the illegal acts of prostitution," the report states.
