ELLENTON -- Authorities are looking for a man who was involved in a hit-and-run crash Saturday afternoon near the Ellenton Premium Outlets.

A 45-year-old Bradenton woman and a 14-year-old female passenger were stopped in traffic at Factory Shops Boulevard waiting to turn onto 60th Avenue East around 3:55 p.m. when their Toyota SUV was struck from behind, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The driver of the other vehicle, a four-door, dark gray Volkswagen Passat, fled when the woman said she was calling the police.
