What was the best business advice you ever received?
Make sure that everything you do is done with integrity. That's the most important thing for me and my restaurant guests.
If you could choose another profession, what would it be?
Something in the hospitality business, because I love interacting with the public. The best part of my day is walking and talking with our guests.
What's the biggest risk you have taken in your career?
Going into the restaurant business. I'd never done restaurant work so when I joined the Olive Garden in 1996. I certainly did not think my career would span this far and never imagined becoming a general manager.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?
In 2002 I traveled to Italy with the Olive Garden and that was my first experience outside the U.S. and if I had my choice I'd go back to Italy.
