iOS 7 upgrade impacts iPhone app users

October 25, 2013

Dear iPhone users:

If you haven't already updated your iPhone to iOS version 7.0.3, please delay that.

Apple released a minor system update to iOS 7.0.3 for iPhones that is temporarily incompatible with our app.

The update was not made available to developers ahead of its release, which meant that the vendor for the Bradenton Herald app couldn't detect a bug in the code. Our vendor has fixed the bug and is releasing the Bradenton Herald update to the Apple app store.

Because Apple reviews all updates, we might not have our fix in the store for a few days. We apologize for the malfunction and the delay.

If you have enabled notifications, you will still receive notice of any substantial breaking news. You can read the Bradenton Herald on your phone by going to m.bradenton.com. You also can sign up for breaking news emails at www.bradenton.com/reg-bin/int.cgi.
